Direct deposit is a convenient, fast and safe way to automatically deposit recurring payments into your checking or savings account. Types of payments deposited can include, for example, payroll, employee expense reimbursement, government benefits, tax and other refunds, and annuities or interest payments.
To initiate direct deposit, you will need to supply the following information to the company or organization that will be initiating the transaction:
- The Bank Name: The Bancorp Bank, N.A.
- Our ABA Number: 031101114 (also known as the Routing/Transit number)
- Your Account Number
- Your Account Type (Checking or Savings)
° Note: A money market account is considered a savings account type.
To set up direct deposit for your paycheck, ask for a copy of your employer’s direct deposit signup form.
